Frederiksted Pier

The Frederiksted Pier has been the major attraction on the west end of the island for decades.  The base of the pier is surrounded by large boulders, which offer great homes to a variety of marine life.  From the base, there is an extension that goes out a quarter-mile.  This extension is supported by 3-6 long pillars that extend to the ocean floor.  These pillars are engulfed in soft and hard corals which make this a unique place to snorkel.
